The Diocese is committed to safeguarding as an intergrel part of the pilgrimage.

The Pilgrimage Safeguarding Officer ensures all reasonable steps have been taken order to prevent harm to  pilgrims.

When there is a safeguarding concern, the Pilgrimage Safeguarding Officer will ensure it is addressed appropriately and in-line with local policy and national    standards.
